EnvironmentRe-generated brushes
Re-generated brushes- the environmentally friendly choice
If you want to reduce your carbon footprint by more than 55%, switch to re-generated brush rings.
We work with a circular economy.
Our latest initiative is to re-circle used, worn poly/plastic brushes from our customers, as well as waste from our production.
Re-generated brushes are 100% as durable as ordinary brush rings. The brushes have been tested both internally and through wear tests by several customers on Danish roads and paths.
In collaboration with ClimatePartner, we have produced a report showing that the CO2 emissions for 1 kg of regular plastic are 5.87 kg CO2 , whereas the emissions for re-generated plastic are only 2.59 kg CO2. This results in a CO2 saving of more than 55%.
The top plastic plates for side/gutter brooms and weed brushes are made from re-generated plastic. We purchase recycled plastic, but we also reuse our own production waste. At our factory, we have a system where we recircle plastic from our production. When the brush is drilled, the shavings are sucked up through a pipe system into a silo where we collect them, and then they are shredded and converted into new plastic granulate.
